Lombard Odier appoints Asia head

Lombard Odier has appointed Vincent Duhamel as head of its Asia-Pacific & Japan operations.

Lombard Odier has appointed Vincent Duhamel as head of its Asia-Pacific & Japan operations.

Based in Hong Kong, Duhamel will be joining as a limited partner and will be responsible for the development of the private banking and institutional investment managers businesses in the area working alongside Bart van Leemput who will continue to lead the Lombard Odier Private Banking teams for the region.

He will report to Anne-Marie de Weck, managing partner of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie, who is responsible for private banking and to Hubert Keller, managing partner of Lombard Odier Darier Hentsch & Cie, who is responsible for Lombard Odier Investment Managers.

Duhamel joins from SAIL Advisors, where he was chief executive officer. Prior to this he was head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management for Asia ex Japan, based in Hong Kong, directly responsible for the bank’s activities in the area of investment management and the development of relationships with large institutional investors.
