Life companies among most valuable insurance brands

Axa, Metlife and Zurich have taken some of the top spots among the 100 most valuable insurance brands of 2018, but China is the most dominant country with its companies taking four of the top 10 slots.
China Life Insurance was the other non-mover at the top of the league table. The company retained its third position with a brand value of $14.4bn, up from $10.3bn the previous year.
In October 2016, the state-owned enterprise (SOE) issued a profit warning after it forecast a 60% drop in net profit due to a decrease in investment income for the nine months to 30 September.
The announcement seems to have done the brand little harm, given its top three position for two consecutive years.
