Released through Kreston Pensions, the Qualifying Recognised Overseas Pension scheme will now be listed on the HMRC website.
Chief executive of the Kreston group, David Pope, said: “We have been preparing for these developments for some considerable time and this approval means we can also start to implement moves into new jurisdictions.”
Kreston Pensions was formed last month when Kreston IOM received approval from the Isle of Man Insurance and Pensions Authority to become a registered pension scheme administrator.
Kreston IOM is the Isle of Man’s representative of Kreston International, a global network of independent accounting firms with 186 member firms employing over 20,000 staff in over 108 countries.
In April, Kreston IOM appointed Tanya O’Carroll as its director of client services.
The company said O’Carroll is responsible for managing and enhancing its client services teams and developing her intermediary contacts in order to grow the business.
