Due to take up the position in September, Ring arrives more than a year on from former distribution head Simon Hynes leaving the role to go on sabbatical.
Ring will join Jupiter’s executive committee, focusing on developing the firm’s operations in both new and existing markets.

Having spent seven years with Columbia Threadneedle – most recently as global head of product – Ring has also served as managing director and COO at Northern Trust, prior to which he held positions with KPMG, Gartmore Fund Managers and Prudential.
