9 Jan 13

UHY Dawgen and Paul Goldson & Company, both based in Jamaica, have announced plans to merge.

UHY Dawgen and Paul Goldson & Company, both based in Jamaica, have announced plans to merge.

The merged business will operate under the UHY Dawgen brand and will be a member of UHY, the international network of independent accounting and consulting firms with offices in more than 240 major business centres in 82 countries.

The combined business will have four partners and 60 staff working in Kingston, Mandeville, Ocho Rios and Montego Bay.

UHY Dawgen said the merger will enable it to offer its clients access to a broader range of in-depth specialist services.

Dawkins Brown, managing partner at UHY Dawgen, said: “Paul Goldson & Company is an extremely well-regarded firm, with a stable, long-standing client base. Their audit focus complements our existing services and will ensure that UHY Dawgen can provide an even greater depth of expertise to our business and corporate clients as we continue our growth strategy in Jamaica.”
