International life insurer Investors Trust has opened an Asia sales hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The hub will act as a service point allowing the company to expand its operations in Asia following the closure of the Hong Kong office on 30 June 2023.

Opening the office in Malaysia was a strategic decision that reflects the company’s preference to concentrate their sales and operations functions in one location where ITA is fully licensed.

David Knight, head of distribution Asia at Investors Trust, said: “ The relocation of our Asia hub continues our longstanding commitment to the region and further expands our presence in Malaysia, where ITA Asia Ltd is registered as a licensed Insurer by the Labuan Financial Services Authority.”
