Hoxton Capital Management gets SEC licence

By Cristian Angeloni, 13 Apr 22

As it plans to expand its US presence with additional offices

Dubai-headquartered advice firm Hoxton Capital Management has been granted a US licence by the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).

Its American arm, Hoxton Capital Management USA, began operations in 2019 in Austin, Texas after its investment adviser application was approved by the Texas State Securities Board.

The USA division has 13 registered investment adviser representatives, and it is also establishing a branch in Jersey City, New Jersey.

Chris Ball, managing partner of Hoxton Capital Management, said: “This is a very important step and milestone for the growth of our US business, and also the latest display of our continued commitment to bringing our services and expertise to expat investors across the globe.

“The significant expat population in the US deserves to have available high quality, relevant, tailored advice and this development will allow us to expand our operations to meet the demand that we know is present.”
