Hansard Global has appointed Ollie Byrne as chief financial officer (CFO) and executive director with effect from 1 October 2024.
He replaces Thomas Morfett who was appointed as chief executive officer, as announced on 2 August 2024.
Byrne joined Hansard in 1997 and has held numerous roles in Actuarial, IT, Client Services, and Strategic Management, including chief operating officer and most recently commercial director. In addition to having extensive experience in systems, operations, and people management, he has been a driving force behind numerous strategic and commercial initiatives in recent years.
Ollie is a qualified actuary with over 30 years’ experience in the life assurance industry. Prior to moving to Hansard, he worked for Guardian Life in Ireland. He is a mathematics graduate from Trinity College Dublin and has a master’s degree in Numerical Analysis, also from Trinity College Dublin.
