Global financial services firm buys Swiss trust business

By Robbie Lawther, 23 Aug 21

Deal will expand the company’s private client operation

Alpadis Group has acquired Switzerland and Cyprus-based trust and corporate service firm Swisspartners Marcuard Heritage (SPMH) for an undisclosed sum.

The acquisition will “significantly boost” Alpadis Group’s private client services in Switzerland and expand the range of services they are able to offer in this jurisdiction.

SPMH was founded in 1993 and provides a range of wealth planning services for international private clients from wealth planning and structuring to family governance and other family office services.

Dominik Heer, chief operating officer of Alpadis Group, said: “Alpadis Group will be expanding our Swiss operations significantly over the coming months and years which will complement our presence in Asia, with offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand.

“This is exciting news and sees the formation of a new, relevant player in the Swiss corporate services sector.”
