Fifth advice firm joins Evelyn via succession programme

By Robbie Lawther, 27 Jul 22

Scheme has ‘generated a great deal of interest’ since its launch in 2021

The founder and owner of Scottish financial planning business Equilibrium Financial Consultancy will join the Glasgow office of wealth management and professional services group Evelyn Partners.

Callan Anderson, who has run Glasgow-based Equilibrium for the past 18 years and is a chartered financial planner, joins Evelyn Partners as part of its succession programme.

The scheme gives financial advisers approaching retirement an opportunity to migrate their clients to a long-term home.

Richard Dawes, head of strategic partnerships at Evelyn Partners, said: “Our succession programme has generated a great deal of interest since its launch in late 2021 and I am delighted that Callan is joining us in our Glasgow office as part of it.

“Callan has an established business working with clients in Scotland and the wider UK. This agreement means they will continue to receive a high-quality, personalised service while also benefiting from the investments we have made in the proposition and our technology.

“Evelyn Partners’ presence in 26 towns and cities in the UK, as well as the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands, will allow him to offer his clients a more localised service, no matter where they are based.”

This is the fifth firm to sign up to Evelyn’s succession programme including Explore Wealth Management, FP Solutions, Capital Risk Management and MP2 Financial.
