Emirates NBD adds further eight funds

13 Oct 14

Emirates NBD Asset Management has added a further eight funds to its Luxembourg based SICAV, as it looks to broaden its investor base.

Emirates NBD Asset Management has added a further eight funds to its Luxembourg based SICAV, as it looks to broaden its investor base.

The funds are all UCITS compliant and add to the Emirates Emerging Market Corporate Absolute Return and Emirates Global Quarterly Income Funds already available through the SICAV.

David Marshall, senior executive officer of the UAE headquartered company, said: “The new funds are open to relevant investors outside the UAE as well as locally, in keeping with our ongoing growth strategy.

“The new range of funds leverage the long standing expertise of Emirates NBD AM’s investment team, with its impressive track record of managing a range of asset classes both regionally and globally.”

The range also comes in addition to the firm’s existing Jersey domiciled fund range managed by Emirates NBD AM.

Emirates said the new funds (listed below) are designed to broaden its investor base, “allowing a wider range of investors to invest in funds under the UCITS scheme”.

  • Emirates Active Managed Fund
  • Emirates Balanced Managed Fund
  • Emirates Islamic Global Balanced Fund
  • Emirates MENA Fixed Income Fund
  • Emirates Global Sukuk Fund
  • Emirates MENA Top Companies Fund
  • Emirates MENA Opportunities Fund
  • Emirates MENA High Income Fund
