Coutts has continued the expansion of its burgeoning Asia team with the appointment of Kenneth Sue as head of products and services, with immediate effect.

Based in Hong Kong, Sue will be responsible for driving the Asia products and services strategy for the company and leading the development of its tailored investment propositions which aim to meet the specific needs of the firm’s clients.

He will be jointly reporting to Nick Pollard, chief executive for Coutts Asia and Ian Ewart, head of product, services and marketing at Coutts.

Sue joins the firm from HSBC where he was managing director and head of wealth management sales across Asia Pacific. He has also previously worked at Deutsche Bank, Merrill Lynch, Bankers Trust Australia and Westpac Banking Corporation.

“Coutts is investing significantly in our platform in Asia, as we expand in this key region,” said Ewart.  “We are focused on being even more client-centric, as we add further depth and expanded capabilities to our product and services offering.”
