What next after China’s MSCI inclusion?

Wealth and asset managers give their views on the implications of the MSCI inclusion of A-shares and where they find investment opportunities onshore.
Robert Schuckink Kool, CIO of Wijs & Van Oostveen, a Dutch private bank, said the actual inclusion does not impact the portfolio at the moment.
“But the prospect of index inclusion played a role for us when we decided to take a position in the db x-trackers Harvest CSI300 Ucits ETF at the start of the year.
“The decision has reinforced our conviction that Chinese equities have become more attractive as a satellite holding over the past few years,” he said.
