Cazenove name is no more in Asia wealth manager rebrand

By Mark Battersby, 29 Aug 17

Cazenove Capital’s Asian wealth and private banking business is to be renamed Schroders Wealth Management.

Cazenove’s Hong Kong office changed its name to Schroders Wealth Management earlier this month and the Singapore office will be rebranded in September.

Schroders bought Cazenove in 2013, but continues to run some operations under the latter’s name, including Cazenove Capital in the UK and Channel Islands.

Schroders said the change reflected the greater brand strength of its own name in Asia.

In June this year, Schroders set up a new company as part of its wealth management division called Schroder Wealth US, to sit alongside its UK subsidiary, Cazenove Capital.

In the same month, Cazenove Capital appointed a UK chief executive.
