Stubbs, who previously worked for Cannaccord as a stockbroker, has a total of over 13 years of experience in the financial services industry which also included a trader role at Cenkos and an investment manager position at Brewin Dolphin.
Matt Watson, head of Brooks Macdonald International’s Guernsey office, said the appointment focused on “maintaining our existing high service levels” as it continued to expand.
In December last year, Brooks Macdonald International launched a platform-based international managed portfolio service, with Jersey-based Praemium International providing the administration, execution and custody capability.
Brooks Macdonald International, a subsidiary of the AIM-listed, London-based Brooks Macdonald wealth management group, had £5.68bn in funds under management at 31 December 2013.
