Best Overall Adviser Firm 2020 revealed

By Kirsten Hastings, 27 Jan 21

Which firm took top honours in the International Adviser Best Practice Adviser Awards?

2020 marked the fifth anniversary of the Best Practice Adviser Awards, which we host in partnership with Quilter International.

Last year was challenging on so many fronts; so, we were especially delighted not only by the number of entries we received but the quality.

Each year, in addition to the regional categories, we also select a Best Overall Adviser Firm.

The winner for 2020 has been a mainstay of the awards since inception and takes home the overall prize for the second year in a row.

Our congratulations to The Fry Group.

The team at The Fry Group was also named Best Advice Firm – Europe and won the awards for Excellence in Marketing – East Asia and Excellence in Business Strategy – UK.

Coming out of the crisis stronger

David Pugh, chief strategy and commercial officer at The Fry Group, commented: “This award is testament to the continued hard work of our global team, a massive thank you to them.

“Despite the challenges posed by the covid 19 pandemic, we are enjoying a successful year with our net new client inflows up 70% compared to last year.

“Just as importantly, we have learnt a lot about the business from the crisis and undoubtedly, made it stronger.

“I’m confident the improvements and substantial investment in the business this year will allow us to sustain our growth. I’m very excited about what our team can achieve together in the coming years.”

All of the winners in each region can be found here.
