Critical illness plans typically give claim payouts at more advanced stages of the illness, Axa maintains, which means that when critical illness is detected at an early stage, policyholders are not given the financial support they need to seek out the best treatment possible.
The latest Axa Early Stage CritiCare plan is designed to give policyholders maximum support as early as the onset of illness, and “at every step of the way.”
Since 2002, the rate of recovery from critical illness in Singapore has improved significantly, thanks to early diagnosis, better medicine and more advanced treatments available, according to Axa.
The plan provides a maximum upfront payout of up to 100% sum assured as early as the onset of critical illness which Axa highlights as giving policyholders the flexibility to seek out the best treatments and to take time off to recover from treatment without worry.
Key features of AXA early stage CritiCare include:
• Coverage of up to 77 medical conditions across 30 critical illnesses
• Payout is assured from early to intermediate, advanced and terminal stages of illness
• Maximum upfront payout of up to 100% sum assured as early as the onset of critical illness
