Asset management chiefs share six industry concerns for 2018

The asset and wealth management industry is about to usher in a period of disruption, with cyber security threats a big concern, chief executives across the sector have warned.

Disruption and security were two of the key findings in a PwC report called Optimistic CEOs, buoyant growth, disruption ahead.
The report is part of a global survey that questions 126 of the asset and wealth management (AWM) sector’s chief executives about the threats and opportunities facing their companies in 2018.
Overall, 87% of AWM chief executives are confident about revenue growth in 2018. This is slightly lower than in 2017, when 92% were optimistic.
