Advanta Solutions has acquired Hertford-based advice firm M W Wealth Management for an undisclosed sum.

This is Advanta’s sixth acquisition in the last 18 months and adds a further £65m ($79m, €74m) in assets under management.

Craig Webster, chief executive of Advanta, added: “We are delighted that M W Wealth Management has decided to become part of the Advanta team and that Ken, his clients, and staff are joining us. Ken has built a fantastic reputation with his clients and we look forward to working with him.

Webster added: “As a Chartered firm, we are totally focused on our clients needs and in doing so provide insight and understanding married with service, experience and knowledge. Continuing to raise the standards of advice and service is central to our strategy of creating a professional environment for our clients and their families.”

This comes several months after the firm’s last acquisition which was the purchase of Fulham-based Genesis Financial Planning for an undisclosed sum in August 2022.

Advanta is backed by Beech Tree Private Equity, which provides funding for the business to pursue “a multiple acquisition strategy”.
