VAM Group has appointed Stephen Kevan as group marketing director.

Kevan, who will be based in the firm’s Mauritius office, has previously held senior marketing positions at Old Mutual International and Barclays Wealth.

In the newly created role, Kevan will oversee strategic marketing across VAM Group’s companies.

He joins the company from Mauritius-based NinetyEast Financial, an offshore fiduciary, corporate services and fund administration company where he was chief marketing officer.

Peter de Putron, VAM group chairman, said: “Stephen’s appointment as group marketing director will give new focus to our marketing efforts, providing a top-down approach to complement the business-specific activities of our group companies that will create synergies and open up new opportunities for our global fund management and trust and corporate services businesses.”
