Blick Rothenberg
The accountancy and tax advisory firm has appointed Nimesh Shah as chief executive.
Shah has been a partner at the firm since 2014.
He takes over from the current chief executive, Nilesh Shah, who is leaving the company to take up an advisory role with Blick Rothenberg’s parent company Cogital Group.
Axa Investment Managers
Marco Morelli has joined the firm as executive chairman and a member of the management committee.
He will take office on 14 September and will be based in Paris.
Morelli joins from Italian bank Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, where he was chief executive and general manager.
After 30 years with the group, Gérald Harlin, Axa’s deputy chief executive and executive chairman of Axa IM, has decided to retire at the end of September.
He will remain a member of Axa IM’s board of directors.
T Rowe Price
The global asset manager has made a raft of promotions within its investment team.
From the beginning of 2021, Oliver Bell will assume the newly created role of associate head of international equity.
Coinciding with his promotion, Bell will begin transitioning his portfolio manager responsibilities on T Rowe Price’s Frontier Markets Equity and Middle East and Africa Equity strategies from 1 August 2020.
Johannes Loefstrand will become co-portfolio manager with Bell on the Frontier Markets Equity Strategy, ahead of taking over as sole portfolio manager at the beginning of next year.
Seun Oyegunle will become co-portfolio manager with Bell on the Middle East & Africa Equity Strategy at this time, before becoming sole portfolio manager on 1 January 2021.
Mediolanum International Funds Ltd (MIFL)
The European asset management platform of Mediolanum Banking Group has named David Whitehead as equity portfolio manager in the multi-manager team.
Most recently, Whitehead was senior investment research analyst at DFP.
