Premier League adviser to face rape charge trial

By Mark Battersby, 10 Oct 17

A celebrity adviser to Premier League footballers and pop and TV stars is to go on trial accused of rape.

Frank Cochran, the owner of Wolverhampton-based FSC Investment Services, is due to stand trial at Stafford Crown Court on April 3 2018 on one charge of rape, three of sexual assault, one of harassment and one of controlling or coercive behaviour. He denies the charges.

Cochran, who is also a director of London-based advice firm Celebrity Financial Planning, has been the subject of newspaper and TV profiles focused on his high-profile status and celebrity client base, and is a regular personal finance commentator in the media.

He has advised Atomic Kitten singer Kerry Katona and has spoken of having close links to Chelsea FC, and advising TV stars and lottery winners on offshore investments and dealing with their tax affairs.

His firm FSC Investment was formerly the official “wealth management partner” of Wolverhampton Wanders FC.
