Sam Shi appointed sales director for asset owners and asset managers in Greater China at BNP Paribas

Sam Shi appointed sales director for asset owners and asset managers in Greater China at BNP Paribas

In the newly created role, Shi will lead business development activities targeted at institutional investor clients in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan working with the BNP Paribas teams in these countries.

Prior to the appointment, Shi was sales and relationship manager at Brown Brothers Harriman in Boston and Hong Kong.

Lawrence Au, head of the Asia Pacific and global executive committee member at BNP Paribas Securities Services said: “This is another crucial step forward in our business plan for Asia as we continue to recruit the right talent for our expansion plan across the region”.

BNP Paribas Securities Services began providing offshore RMB clearing services in Hong Kong last year.
