Dunamis Capital to open Dubai office

27 Jun 11

Dunamis Capital is set to open an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Dunamis Capital is set to open an office in the Dubai International Financial Centre.

Dunamis provides investment banking and private wealth management services to small and medium enterprises in selected emerging markets.

The company is split into to two parts. Dunamis Capital Investment Banking offers assistance to companies looking to grow in markets such as Asia and the Middle East by encouraging investment in them, while Dunamis Capital Private Wealth Management provides private wealth management services to sophisticated High Net Worth individuals.

Dunamis Capital also plans to launch its Asia/Middle East Growth Capital Fund in the region later this year. The fund is focused on specific sectors and reflects the interests of the group – companies operating in emerging markets with fast growth potential.

David Sumner, group CEO of Dunamis Capital, said: “There is considerable potential for growth in the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The quality of businesses we come across is high and there is a major opportunity for stakeholders to benefit from strong demographics, compelling market drivers and sustainable returns on investment.

“We believe that these emerging markets are where the next generation of commercial opportunities lies. In addition, UK and US Plcs see these as key expansion destinations as well as areas to access capital.”
